BIBIM
BIBIM, a Korean restaurant located in Esch-Belval on the ground floor of the “Terres Rouges” building, offers authentic and original dishes during lunch time. The brand trusted us with its layout and design work.
We took charge of the space planning, interior design and implementation of the “design & build” project.
The concept results from study carried out with our client, which was adapted according to the atmosphere that he wanted to give to his restaurant, but also according to the hygiene and safety rules in force and the needs in terms of technical equipment.
We worked on the entire area, including the kitchen and the restaurant room. The idea behind this project was to combine an industrial and modern style with the authentic Korean identity of the restaurant. We worked with the already existing concrete and left the technique exposed to give this raw side, contrasting perfectly with the natural oak tables and the white melamine seats. We wanted to offer several ways of having lunch by setting up a long table to share with other customers, high tables and round tables. The colored paint on the floor and walls subtly reflects the Korean flag.
Far from our usual clients, our architects have proven through this project that they know how to manage interior designs of different scales, following varied specifications.
