The « Villa Engel », 40 Boulevard Grande Duchesse Charlotte in the Ville Haute district of Luxembourg city, is a 280m² magnificent 19th century host house. It has been entirely renovated and transformed into offices by EGB, following the « design & build » process.

Our goal for this project was to keep as much as possible what was already there in order to keep the essence of this somptuous house, and combining it with a modern and functional style to fit a contemporary office.

Our team of architects also selected the furniture, working with quality brands, such as Sedus and Bene and offering made-to-measure carpentry. We worked with light colors in order to give a bright aspect. We optimized the space by creating a kitchen, a reception area, un living room/library, a meeting room, four individual offices, a versatile room, a waiting room, and a 4 person open-space.

Regarding the outside of the villa, we redid the facade, as well as the ironwork, which include the fence, the gates, the barrier, the conservatory and the canopy. Our architects worked on this project for nearly 8 months.
